Accessibility statement

A2 Digital Works e.U. is committed to making belegerl.ai and the Belegerl web app accessible in line with the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG), Directive (EU) 2019/882 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

Compliance status

The website and the app are largely compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. Last reviewed on 17 October 2026 (automated axe audit of the home page and app pages plus a manual walk-through of sign-up, scanning, filing and export).

What is in place

• Everything works with the keyboard; focus is visible; a “skip to content” link.
• Sufficient contrast, light and dark mode, text scales with system settings.
• Labelled form fields, text error messages, no colour-only coding.
• Animations are switched off when the device asks for reduced motion.
• Mascot images are decorative; charts have text alternatives and a table view.

Known limitations

• The camera view while scanning shows detected edges visually only; screen readers get feedback after the photo is taken.
• Some promotional videos on the home page do not yet have captions or audio description.
• Receipts uploaded by customers (PDFs/photos) are not made accessible.
